Taylors Clematis :: FAQ's

FAQ's

  • Most popular FAQ as of 07/07/21. Should I dead-head my clematis? - Answer:
  • If your clematis is part of the Montana, Alpina, Macropetala, Koreana, Tangutica, Texensis or Viticella varieties then you don't need to dead-head the clematis as it won't make any difference. However, you can dead-head Group 2 and Boulevard clematis as this will make a difference as dead-heading these varieties encourages them to produce more flowers.

    Here we have the most common questions that we are asked on an almost daily basis answered:

    Please take 2 minutes to flick through them before submitting a Contact Form. Thankyou, Chris and Suzy

    In Winter Time its perfectly normal for Clematis to loose all of their leaves as 95% of them are Deciduous, however if your clematis is evergreen and is loosing its leaves then its either drying out or too windy, - Here is a link to Evergreen Clematishttps://www.taylorsclematis.co.uk/clematis-evergreen-clematis/
