I want to find a clematis or two to cover a length of railing on top of a low wall, length 12m.approx. Aspect N, NE. In summer gets sun in late afternoons, in winter none. Looking at viticellas. Colour - any, poss. one white. There is no cover and can be windy so need to be hardy!
Hi Deborah, Yes viticellas will be the best for the job, I have included the links to 2 reds and 2 whites below for you to look at :-
John Howells
Kermesina
Alba Luxurians
Maria Cornelia
as all our plants are 2 years old in 2 litre pots and fully hardy, it means that they are fully mature and can be planted at anytime of year, so the sooner they go in the better they will perform this same season. The weather will not bother our viticellas at all
Hope this helps
