Scartho gem
This question was asked by - Lesley Hello
I'm trying to get hold of the clematis Scartho gem. I can't find it on your website but wondered if you ever had it available to buy?
Thanks and best wishes Lesley Hi I'm sorry we stopped growing this one years ago due to there being a lot of clematis that look very similar, if its these sort of colours that you are after then I would take a look at ones such as 'bees jubilee' or 'ruby wedding' to name just 2. please find links to them below

This question was asked by - Ian Hi,
Last year we received a Bees Jubilee Clematis. It looks like it has died. Please understand I think your service is fantastic and I am blaming me, or my soil or the climate. I just wondered when the best time to order another was. Kind regards Ian Newton Hi Ian, as all our plants are 2 years old in 2 litre pots and fully hardy, it means that they are fully mature and can be planted at anytime of year, so the sooner they go in the better they will perform this same season.
Hope this helps

This question was asked by - Nick Hi there,
Could you please advise the minimum size pot necessary to grown a clematis bee jubilee to its full height?
Kind Regards,
Nick Hi yes about 18inches in width and depth will do it, as all our plants are 2 years old in 2 litre pots and fully hardy, it means that they are fully mature and can be planted out straight into a large pot of this size at anytime of year, (where as other people's young plants have to be potted up steadily until they are mature enough to go into a big pot)
Hope this helps, and they are in stock at the moment (see link below)
