This question was asked by - Susan Help in nursing home and improving the garden. Have old summer house and this looks perfect to grow over the summer house for summer smell and flowers It is a mature gardens so lots of shade.
Wondering if it would grow in a large pot?. Hi Susan yes it would, no problem. You will need some sort of mesh or netting to fix to your summerhouse 1st , maybe take a look at ours as its only £4 per metre

Clematis age
This question was asked by - Oli What age are the Clematis armandii 'Apple Blossom' that you sell, and are they available immediately? Thanks! Oli Hi Oli, all our plants are at least 2 years old growing in 2 litre pots and fully hardy, it means that they are fully mature and can be planted at anytime of year, so the sooner they go in the better they will perform this same season.
Hope this helps yes they are available now (see link below)

Clematis Mesh
This question was asked by - Marie 5 mtrs green clematis mesh .
what fastenings are best to use attaching to a wall.
My clematis I purchased from you last year are looking good new growth.
many thanks Marie Hi, I normally drill a hole and use a raw plug then I put in a hook and do this several times until it’s all just where I want it.
Then with a pair of plyers I close up the hooks (which In theory turns them into an eye)
Hope this makes sense

Advice
This question was asked by - Sheila Hi
I am going to order another couple of clematis from you and would like to grow one along a wattle fence that is under a big sycamore tree. It gets sun for some part of the day, but the ground is fairly dry although has been enriched by leaf mould over the years. Is there a clematis that would thrive in these conditions?
Kind regards
Sheila Hi Sheila I think you will be best off choosing from our viticella range as these will be the best for your job.
You may need to also attach some of our mesh to the fence as (depending on how tight your weave is the may not be able to climb on it all on their own)
Please see links below. As all our plants are 2 years old in 2 litre pots and fully hardy, it means that they are fully mature and can be planted at anytime of year, so the sooner they go in the better they will perform this same season.
Hope this helps

This question was asked by - Carole What would you use to attach the clematis mesh to a fence ?
I have only found on your site how to fix it to a wall
Many thanks
Carole Hi Carole, we use ‘horse shoe’ nails to attach to wooden fences or I suppose you could use hooks ? It’s up to you really but the horseshoe nails would be my chosen method
Many thanks
