On your website it says these new boulevard clematis are suitable for containers - as it's said that conventional climbing clematis should have the roots in the shade and their heads in the sun how deep should a pot be? If they are perennial could they not be planted in the ground? Do they have to be in full sun? Thanks!
Hi Bee, the pot size for the patio ones can be a lot smaller than the conventional ones - so about 12 inches minimum will do.
Yes they can be grown very easily in the ground too (it does not have to be always pots)
