This section is to show ths size of Clematis plants we grow, our minimum pot size is 2 litre.

Please note that many Clematis are Deciduous, so in Wintertime they will arrive without leaves/flowers ( this is perfectly normal ). Some Clematis are Herbaceous, these types disapear totally under the ground ( like a Hosta does) and then re-shoot fresh from the root system ever year ( this is normal too). The later flowering types like viticella and texensis when purchased in spring may also be smaller than shown due to the later flowering period. The main factor is that we grow strong, fully hardy clematis that all have a 2 year old root system that has produced lots of nice healthy growth and plenty of flower the previous year. At this age and standard of maturity they are able to be planted at anytime of year, and will thrive in your garden. We win the medals that we do, not only because our displays look fantastic, but because the judges can see from our sales tables just how well grown our sales plants are ( and at the end of the day these are the plants that we are selling to you and everyone else). We have the same high standard for all, whether you are a flowershow customer, an online customer or a nursery visitor. Everyone is Happy, and i can rest assured that each and every new customer will be too. Happy Gardening!,

Chris & Suzy
