Clematis Landsdown Gem is a new evergreen variety to our nursery that flowers through winter, it's part of the Cirrhosa family of clematis that are particually tough and really get on with the job, they grow up to heights of around 12 feet and spread about 3 feet. The Landsdown Gem Clematis is the deepest colour of all the Cirrhosa family varieties that we grow, and with the winter flowering it really does cheer up the garden. The evergreen foliage adds a bonus through the rest of the year too. The option is also there to grow Landsdown Gem in a pot or container if you wanted to create a winter flowering display on the patio, or in a courtyard setting.
